Blog Probes Real Estate Models
Posted by CityBlogCO on March 30th, 2008
www.REALonomics.net is a blog that is asking serious questions about where the real estate industry is going. More specifically, REALonomics poses challenges to the broker/owners to adopt models that will allow their organizations to become more transparent.
REALonomics.net advocates that the industry open up the property information portals to consumers and upgrade its approach to how it is interacting with the consumer by implementing more social networking such as www.CityBlogUSA.com, a community blogging network for every city in the USA.

I couldn’t agree more. For years now I have been providing easy real estate searches for the Evergreen real estate market as well as Conifer and have made every effort to provide the most comprehensive real estate research tools that I can find. Some require registration but if not required by some rules and regulations set forth by other bodies (like the MLS) I give it away–without requiring emails or phone numbers. I think it’s a great service for home buyers in Evergreen to help them learn a little about the neighborhood. Next I’ll be trying to add more and more market information like recent sold home information so consumers can learn about market dynamics without feeling like they are going to be solicited by a professional “closer”.
